Looking back

Almost ten years at this now and I’m amazed at how much I still love doing this for people. I often think back to the couples I’ve shot in the past and I’ll wonder where life has taken them. What unforeseen mountains have they had to traverse and what views awaited them on the other side. I’m amazed at how much I remember about them and their events. For someone who struggles to remember names only seconds after I’m introduced, it strikes me odd that I can remember the song a lot of them did their first dance to. I hope all my couples are thriving and that maybe their own memories of that special day have helped them push through some difficult times.

I can’t wait for the weddings I have coming up in the fall this year. I love the light during that time of the year.
