Typically our couples book around 9-14 months out. We have to turn down so many clients every year and it is such a bummer every, single, time.
More niche photographers, such as those can can also shoot film or offer a wedding photography + videography bundle, will book up even faster. Not all photographers have the expertise and capacity to shoot 35 mm film at your wedding. It is challenging with the digital part, let alone being able to seamlessly transition to film and pull it off successfully during key moments!
Booking your wedding photographer early means they can be better vested in your event. We LOVE booking out our year sooner than later, especially if traveling to your wedding is involved. Bringing us on early means we can take a more active role in your wedding and linking up with your other vendors.
